Everyone has a base chakra amount of, 5,000, and they regain 1,000 of their used chakra for every 24 hours of rest

E rank jutsu cost 100 chakra
D rank jutsu cost 200 chakra
C rank jutsu cost 300 chakra
B rank jutsu cost 400 chakra
A rank jutsu cost 500 chakra
S rank jutsu cost 600 chakra

If you roll the chakra dice and get 100% on a E rank jutsu you used 100 chakra, if you roll a 125% on a E rank jutsu, than you used 125 chakra. If you roll a 75% you used only 75 chakra on the E rank jutsu, plus the jutsu failed due to lack of chakra. If you roll a 100% on a D rank jutsu you used 200 chakra.
