Finally reaching the gate Ryku is briefly held up by the guards.

Suna Ninja Guard: Hold up! not so fast

Ryku takes a min to gather the words, then explains to the guards.

Ryku: I was assigned a recon mission, my platoon was wiped out and I was taken prisoner.

The guard looks at Ryku with a curious expression.

Ryku: I was held captive by the Iwagakure...

Without any more said the guard hurries Ryku inside the village.
