The ninja of Sunagakure are attempting to hold back ambushes from the Land of Fire inside River country, as ninja from the east keep attempting to push their forces into Suna territory.

Suna Ninja Leader: HOLD THE LINE!, DON'T LET THEM THROUGH!!

Suna Ninja Lieutenant: (over the sound of battle) WE'VE LOST MANY ALREADY!!, WE SHOULD RETREAT!!

Many numbers from both sides have been greatly depleted from the ambush efforts caused by the Land of Fire.

Suna Ninja Leader: NO! WE HAD ORDERS TO HOLD THIS BLOCKADE!!

Suna Ninja Lieutenant: BUT SIR! WE CAN'T HOLD THEM FOREVER, THEY JUST KEEP COMING!!

More and more ninja from the east keep pushing the line, and more deaths followed.

(Roll back 10 hours)

*A support division from Suna arrived, as well as 5 plattons from konoha, and soon the tide turned and Suna had the upper hand, a message was sent back to Konoha alerting the Hokage of how the battle has turned in Suna's favor*

*The Hokage Arrives to see many Leaf and Sand Dead scattered across the battle field*

*Dan Takes two umbrellas and tosses them over the advancing Sand shinobi*

"They will likely bring out the 1 tailed Demon, to counter, and I will take out the 1 tailed, and capture him, with Kushina's help. That will force Sunagakure into a treaty under our terms, in exchange for their tailed beast back"

Ryku and his team of ANBU arrive at the blockade to notice to their horror that their is a eight-tail roaming around. The ANBU split off into seperate groups to go help at other parts of the blockade, Ryku takes off in another direction and notices that a sand ninja is laying on the ground.

A couple of Leaf ninjas are surrounding the downed Sand shinobi, Ryku does Silent Homicide jutsu in attempt to kill the ninjas without being seen.

The two Leaf ninjas that were ganging up on the Sand shinobi drop to the ground simotaniously dead, the Sand shinobi looks around in utter surprise as to what had happened since he didn't notice.

Ryku is then occpied by a member of the ANBU who seems to have information on the situation.

(over the roars of the eight-tail) We need to contain the situation...

Ryku puts up his hand to stop the ANBU from speaking, with a look to the ANBU Ryku disappears using the cloak of Invisibility Jutsu to move around without being heard and heads to find the Hokage.

As Ryku moves through the battlefield of dead ninja, 25 of them began to move around him. They began coming at him with kunai, so he counters using
Wind Release: Great Sickle Weasel Technique.

*While still camouflaged, Dan creeps up on Ryku, using silent homicide Jutsu, and attempts to lunge a kunai into Ryku's back*

The 1-tailed beast slashes the ground with its claws, releasing an upward sand storm stream (Claw of Shukaku) toward the 9-tailed demon. Meanwhile unaware of what is happening behind him, he charges forward after another member of the Leaf.

*Dan Puts his kunai away, and does Earth Release Swamp of the Underworld, to turn the entire battlefield into a swamp, to eliminate the 1 tailed beast's power of the sand, and also to trap the enemy shinobi in the mud*

Taken by surprise the Leaf ninja's eyes glaze over as he is met by death, from Ryku's kunai into his juggler. As the dead shinobi falls to the ground, Ryku notices that its turning into mud.

So he attempts to run across it toward Dan, after relizing the type of jutsu it was he knew that Dan wasn't far behind.

The 1-tailed beast is infuriated by the mud's appearance, so instead does Wind Release: Drilling Air Bullet taking a deep breath, and then pounding its stomach to apply external pressure, the power of which it uses to shoot a highly compressed air ball from its mouth.
