Still running in the direction of Dan even though he can't see from the genjutsu, Ryku does Wind Release: Wind Enhanced Tool, exhaling wind-infused chakra onto a shuriken to increase its range and cutting power then throws it in the direction of where Dan was in hope of hitting him.

Still unable to see from the effect of the genjutsu, Ryku is interrupted in his persute on Dan as the reanimated dead Leaf ninjas begin attacking him with ranged weapons, still unable to see he heard multiple footsteps in the mud and the whistling of weapons flying past him.

The 1-tailed beast sees imprints in the mud noting that a ninja is making their way toward the 9-tailed demon, and in attempt to disrupt them he smashes at the mud with his tail.

Quickly dealing with the Leaf ninjas using Wind Release: Rasengan, he then turns his attention to the roars of the 1-tailed beast and runs in the general direction.

The Sand ANBU going by sound rushes in to help the 1-Tailed, Ryku on the other hand closes his eyes to concentrate on the noises around him, the roars of the tailed beast erupts in his ears.

Going by only the sounds of the beasts Ryku does Sand Body Flicker to appear topside the 1-tailed.

Topside the 1-tailed demon Ryku listens closely and hears a whistling sound coming from the 9-tailed beast. Using Wind Release: Great Breakthrough to deflect the noise sending whatever is back the other way.

While risking the 1-tails life he does Sand body flicker to appear on the 9-tails back. by memory of the battle before the genjutsu was active.

Still going by sound Ryku hears the sound of a kunai blade being drawn, and in attempt to counter he reaches out with his hand to grab the users wrist. After side stepping outta of the way.
